For my last calendar panel of the year I wanted to capture some of the essence of approaching Christmas. I used a mix of evergreen foliage, cones and berry stamps, hopefully without making it look too much like a Christmas card. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Hi everyone. Today Im sharing a birthday card that I gave to my son-in-law, Alex. His birthday isnt for a couple more weeks, but they are heading for a long weekend away in Seattle soon and wanted to give him some to treat himself while he was there. . I made this background a long time ago and was waiting to use it for someone very special . and thats Alex! I made the background using the Saturated Watercolouring technique. Here are the final samples from Scrapbooking Club last week. I have to say that I think this is some kind of record for me to already have my Halloween pictures scrapbooked in mid-November! I used a photo collage created by Jessica Sprague to make the collages for these pages at home. I then had them printed as 8 x 10s.
